Dear fellow freaks,
Yes, the rumours are somewhat true. The 8th of November Album Launch party with Hujaboy has been postponed until 2009. We encountered serious resistance from a Christian action group and subsequently lost our venue. This is something we have no control over. As you might or might not know, venues in Cape Town are getting very, very scarce and finding a venue that is beautiful, close to town and safe in two weeks is impossible and not worth the risk from our side. We want to bring you the best we can and will not settle for less and that’s why the decision was made to postpone the party. Our most sincere apologies if this has caused anyone any form of inconvenience. We shall keep everyone updated with regards to the new date and venue.

On a more productive note:

The amount of resistance we encounter from these religious groups is very worrying. They seem determined to end the psytrance way of life in Cape Town. They are narrow minded, short sighted and unfortunately, powerful too. But I do believe that we as a community can show the rest of the Cape Town what the scene is all about and prove the religious nuts wrong. It starts with you, the punter. Keep yourself tidy; promote the trance way of life; be an ambassador for the scene. We are all in it together. Show the rest of the world who we are and what we stand for!
